We have light colored carpeting in both the living room and bedroom and there are a number of stains I’d like to get rid of without having to call a professional or rent a machine. Is there some product you’ve tried that’s worked miracles without causing further damage? The following are some causes for the stains (a recomendation on how to treat each one would be greatly appreciated as well as a solution to treat them all together) :

Grape juice stain,
Apple juice stain,
Soy sauce stain,
lipstick stain,
coffee stain (I think),
and the ocassional outside dirt stain.

I have found that Carpet cleaners don’t always work and most of the products they sell for carpet stain removal cost a fortune and don’t remove the stain without using at least half of the bottle. Even then the stain still shows. That is what I used to say before I stumbled across this product called Folex. It is sold at Home Depot in the cleaning section. All you do is spray 1-2 squirts on the stain, then rub it with your finger and poof it’s gone. I mean oil stains, blood stains, urine stains, any spill you can think of. I swear by it. It costs about $7.00 for around a 32oz. bottle. Try it and you will be amazed with the results. Good luck!

I have small spot stains in my carpet all over my house what products work well for removing these stain?

If they are pet stains, then an enzyme cleaner is what you need. Try one like Nature’s Miracle – it’s good for odors, too. Depending on what caused the stain, will determine the best cleaner to use.

try spot shot and use it a few times on the spot. then you can try and shampoo the carpet

My kitten threw up 3 times last night when I was away from the house. Unfortunately the rooms he threw up in had white and off white carpet in them. I am using Woolite Pet Stain remover to try and get it up but the stains were already set in by the time I found them. I am treating them again today and hoping that they will come up. Any suggestions on what else I can do? Thanks!

I have used Woolite Oxy Deep Carpet Cleaner on light blue carpeting with great results on cat vomit. It’s made for set-in stains including pet stains but does sometimes require more than one treatment. It works so well, I’ve even used it as a stain remover on clothing.
