I’m moving out on my own and I want to do a thorough carpet cleaning of the new apartment before I move in. I really don’t want a cleaner with too many bags and one that makes you buy expensive cleaning things all the time.
Rent a Rug Dr. That’s the name of it. I have bought my own cleaner and within 3 months the thing didn’t work. It cost me 250 bucks and now it’s worthless. I could have rented a Rug Dr. quiet a few times with that money and saved myself the aggravation. But honestly most apartments are steam cleaned before they are moved into anyway. It’s also possible to carpet may be new depending on the circumstances with the previous tenants.
The Rug Dr. is pretty contained and from what I can remember doesn’t have a crazy amount of hoses and bags
if you don’t want to buy a vacuum cleaner call stanley steamer.
but bissel is good its a water base that goes in it and put water in the carpet with the cleaner and then sucks it out…..pretty cool

Hoover steam vac is a great carpet cleaner. Just don’t rent those things at walmart the "rug doc" they are large, heavy, bulky, and it takes like 5 passes to get anything up. You’ll be so tiered and sore!

the best in the market right now is chem-dry and you can get at the home depot they clean the carpet very good and is dry like in an hr and then buy a good vacuum cleaner like tyson or electrolux and you have carpet for a long time. I know is hard but try not to walk with shoes and the carpet would last longer
